International Sales Manager

Prime Equipment Group, a global leader and manufacturer of poultry processing equipment, is looking for an energetic, highly self-motivated individual with sales/communication skills and a solid working knowledge of the poultry processing industry to manage its network of customers, agents and distributors outside of the Americas.

 The International Sales Manager (ISM) is responsible for initiating and closing sales in territories including EMEA, Asia and Australia, through an established slate of existing agents, distributors and end customers, as well as developing new customer contacts and agent/distributor relationships.

Preferred candidate profile includes:

  • Four-year college or university degree in Business, Marketing or related field, OR distinguished military service, OR 10 years related plant and/or sales experience related to the food processing industry.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, schedules and responsibilities with minimum oversight.
  • Willingness and ability to travel (both domestically and internationally), anywhere from 50%-70%.
  • Foreign language skills (please indicate in resume)
  • Communication skills effective across long-distance relationships
  • Willingness to base out of Prime’s corporate headquarters, located in Columbus, Ohio

CNC Machinist – Vertical Mill

We have 3rd shift openings available at our Columbus, Ohio location. Hours are 10:30 pm to 7:00 am

We are looking for an additions to our machining department for CNC Machinists with at least 2 years of job experience. Individuals needs to be able to work with limited supervision, take pride in good quality workmanship and have the ability to troubleshoot and resolve common machining problems.

Required Skills:

  • Needs to be able to set up, and operate CNC mills.
  • Proficient in writing programs using master cam will be considered a plus.
  • Must be proficient in reading engineering drawings (blueprints).
  • Solid understanding of machining fundamentals (speed, feed, work holding, etc.)
  • Familiar with shop routers and following written instructions.
  • Ability to set/change tool offsets in order to maintain tight machining tolerances.
  • Machining tolerances can be as tight as .0010 inch to as low as .0002 inch.
  • Needs to be able to operate all types of manual equipment and machines (lathe, mill, etc.)
  • Competency using inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gage blocks, indicators, surface finish gages and other available equipment to inspect work for acceptance.
  • Ability to make parts, from prints.
  • Maintain a clean work environment.

Experienced Sub-Assembly Mechanic

The Sub-Assembly Mechanic produces components by assembling parts and sub-assemblies.

Essential Functions

  • Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
  • Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
  • Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and sub-assemblies.
  • Verifies specifications by measuring completed component.
  • Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies.
  • Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
  • Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Dynamics.</li>

Physical Demands

Warehouse Positions

The Warehouse Clerk position will be for the shipping department, material handling and general warehousing.

The shipping role will be responsible for all outgoing parts. The material handler A & B role will be internal part processing. The general warehousing is the upkeep and organization of the warehouse.

You must have above average organization and communication skills, as this position will put you in multiple areas.

You must have average to above average skills to use Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook and Prime Equipment Group’s ERP system.

The shipping, material handler A & B, and general warehousing will be your responsibility to complete the task needed. You must maintain the overall organization and appearance of the area. You must be able to work with high results and be self-motivated with little to no supervision.
